Xmas meeting held @ Hatters@FFM on Thursday 3^rd Dec. 2015

Graham Bowen opened the evening by welcoming members, wives and friends and our Judge David Pirie & Irene.

Graham Pirie introduced his brother David, the judge for our “Landscape” competition who is a member of the Upper Largo camera club. David said he uses a Nikon D 300S camera, usually shoots in Raw, often with filters and uses Light Room to process his photos. David also pointed out that this was his first attempt at judging but had enjoyed the experience. He then gave his thoughts on each of the 12 entries, before announcing the results.

David then showed and talked about 12 of his photos which were well received.

Ian Copland thanked David for taking the time to explain his judging methods and for his remarks about each of the photos and that he had passed with flying colours his first foray into Judging.

Grant then gave us a topical and amusing grace.

Our Xmas meal was served by Stella and her staff in the very attractive and recently completed extension to the Fife Folk Museum.

The evening ended with a brief explanation from David about the fundraising efforts of his Camera Club

Graham Bowen thanked Stella and her team at Hatters, Michael and Maurice for organising the slides, our guests for joining us and wished us a safe journey home.

Carriages were at 9.00 pm
