This committee is the fund raising part of a Rotary Club. They organise and run events for club funds from which grants can be made to various groups who apply from the local community as well as supporting international projects such as Shelterbox, Water Provision, educational programmes and many others. Ways and Means will also run events which support specific charities chosen by members such as Mary's Meals.

The events themselves can be as diverse as a Wine Tasting - see above - , Fashion Show, Concert, Coffee Morning, Golf Competition, Bike Ride, Race Night to name a few. Of course these events have the added bonus of providing opportunities for the other important feature of the Rotarian ethic i.e. fellowship between Rotarians.
