1 - Alys Allardyce was welcomed into the club as our new Associate Member; Alys has a professional background within the Civil Service and Military. Alys has had involvement with Aqua boxes for 20 years, her Guiding involvement has spanned 40 years and she is currently District Commissioner for Scouting in Ripon.

2 - Thanks were given to Di and Chris Tunnard for hosting two evening of cheese, pate' and wine raising £338 for club funds

3 - The 2017 Ripon Rotary Bike Ride will be on 13th May - please keep this date free. 2016 date is 7th May - volunteers will be required to observe key activities

4 - Barry Kay has kindly taken over the Golf Tombola, Derek and John Mellor would like assistance in visiting local retailers for tombola prizes, please liaise direct with John/Derek

5 - Friends of Ripon Hospital are having a St George's Day Ball on 23rd April 7 for 7.30pm at the Spa Hotel £50/ person to raise funds for an ophthalmic Fields Machine, tickets from Peter Cooper

6 - Yorkshire Cancer Research are holding an event on 31st May 4.30 for 5pm at Himalayan Gardens in Grewelthorpe, £10/head includes tea and cake with garden tour

7 - Daffodil Delights to be 2pm on 3rd April, drivers/escorts will be required please

8 - The club will be arranging a Tombola and collection for the evening race meet at Ripon Racecourse 15th June, more details to follow re type of tombola

9 - Members to please sign up for attendance at a club fundraising event at West Tanfield Village Hall - A Film Evening arranged by Bill Stockill
