The Business Meeting yesterday included thanks from John Whelan for Club support following Diane's recent hospitalisation and for members who acted as marshals at the St Wifrid's procession as well as those who attended Visualisation Day. Committee chairs asked to take a lead in future planning based on points made.

Long service awards planned for members who had completed 25, 30 or 50 years in Ripon and other clubs.

Club agreed to give £100 to Speak With IT and to pledge £200 to a Kirkby Malzeard youngster suffering from cerebral palsy. 

District 1270 is to be disbanded.

Details given of a proposed 100 Club involving donations of £5 a month followed by prize draws at intervals. Members ssked to gauge possible interest from friends.

Membership cards possibly ready next Tuesday.

Environment committee to meet at 12 next Tuesday.

Clothes collection date to be e-mailed.

Jacob's Well Appeal tea at Birstwith on 20th August 2-4pm.

Nosterfield Open Day on 23rd August.

Club Christmas dinner on 15th December and Carol singing on the market square on 19th December.

Car Boot Sale with IW next May to be held on the Racecourse. Member required to take a lead with organisation.
