John Mellor and Lindsay Wilson attended the Club meeting yesterday together with Honorary member Alan Matthews.

Health updates given on Mike Abbott, John Hague, Brian, Frank, and David Williams.  David was at the meeting yesterday.

Detail of the proposal in 1736 for a canal to link Ripon with the River Ure was described by Tony yesterday.  Reference was made to building between 1767 and 1773 planned by Leeds born John Smeaton.
