Points made at yesterday's Business Meeting included:

Mayor Mick Stanley seeks a partnership in organising a fundraising Sanctuary Walk.

Three prospective members attended yesterday's meeting.

The Treasure Hunt and Barbecue to be held at Copt Hewick on July 30th starts at 7pm.  There is no lunch meeting that day.An auction evening is planned as the second Fellowship event on 29th November.

Volunteers are invited to join a group working at Rotary Way this Thursday from 9am.

100 is to be donated to the Bread Of Life scheme.

50 is to be donated towards the funding of shirts for the Ripon Rugby Club Junior team.

Rebecca Dodds will be speaking about the RYLA course on September 24th.

Marti Stelling of Greystone School will be presented with a club literacy award at a school assembly.

One Membership committee member will report progress at Club Service committee meetings.

The Membership committee is working on a booklet for prospective members.

The Ripon Gazette editorial column of 20th June stated that ' Ripon Rotary and the St Cecilia Orchestra are vital to maintaining Ripon's culture and vitality'

Christian Aid are organising a sponsored Mosaic Walk at Dallowgill on July 13th. Sponsor forms from David Wells.

28 members have paid subscriptions for the new Rotary year.

The Foundation account of 1650 was split equally between Polio Plus and Foundation.
