Latin student Hugh Mc-Hale-Maughan starts his club sponsored RYLA course on 31st July and finishes on August 5th.
Donations have been agreed for Ripon Children's Sports Day, MIND [additional], the Childrens Emergency Fund for Rosalie Kersey, Piggery Work [additional], Joe Pearman for Global Challenge Venture to Cambodia and Vietnam, Girl Guides Mexico 2012 via Heather Laws to support Victoria Luty.
Help at the piggery is required this Saturday.
Rotary Way has been spruced up this week.
Pound stall items from the recently cancelled car boot sale are to be held over for the Open Garden event.
The August car boot sale is to go ahead as normal.
About 60 people attended last Saturday's joint presidents' farewell at Rodney and Isobels.
Alan handed over the presidential baton to Derek at yesterday's meeting. President Elect Geoffrey Blackman was also installed.
There was an interesting and informative tour of Hainsworth's Textile mill today thanks to David and Thomas Hainsworth. Peter Horton was also thanked for all the arrangements within the club.
