Copt Hewick village hall is the venue on Friday mornings for work by the Ripon Archaeology Project which started in 2002 through the efforts of the late Mike Younge and professional archaeologist Kevin Cale. David Rivers explained how 3,000 records are held on the group's data base together with more than 160 different maps and 150 aerial images at the club meeting yesterday and described how more than 12 volunteers gather archaeological information on parishes surrounding Ripon.
Additional club meetings are to be held on 26th April and 3rd May.
The AGM is a lunchtime meeting.
The litter pick on Thursday and Friday mornings starts from the Spa Hotel car park at 9 a.m.
The Daffodil Delights tour is on April 10th from 2.30.
