Ripon Local Studies Research Centre secretary Sue Hughes and volunteer Tony Boddy gave an account of the work of the Centre at the Club meeting this week.
Founded in 1999 by the late Mike Younge the Centre seeks to promote research into the history of Ripon and surrounding area and offers help with areas such as family history investigation and the recording of archaeology sites.
It is based at The Gatehouse West, 75 Allhallowgate.
The silent auction for a stay in an apartment in Nerja is complete.
