Macular Degeneration, the main cause of registered vision impairment for people over 50 in the western world, was described by Sarah Rayner at the Club meeting this week with partners at the Crown Inn, Roecliffe.
Details were given of how the Macular Disease Society can help through its network of local groups throughout the UK, the quarterly magazine and an annual journal of research findings.
A Rotarian is needed to accompany the minibus driver on the Daffodil Delights tour on Sunday April 11th. Peter Garner is organising this event.
The young carers' holiday will be based at Carlton Lodge Activity Centre in August.
Ann Townson will be speaking about the little city with the big heart on April 13th.
