Youth Volunteering Awards were presented last night to young people who are making outstanding contributions towards improving society in the Ripon area.
David Taylor of Ripon Scouts was the overall winner.
Finalists included Stephanie Walmsley of Boroughbridge Scouts, Natalie Clayton of Ripon Swimming Club,Sam Norman of Boroughbridge Youth Centre, Zoe Atkinson of Ripon College and Gemma Lodge of Masham Kids For Christ.
There are 38 team entries so far for the Golf Tournament.
Work continues on the schools' litter awareness project.
