Weekly News from Peter Race 22 October 2009
Aspects of community politics in Zimbabwe were described by Albert Weidermann in a talk to the Club this week.
These included references to specific problems faced by the country as well as detail of the results of the land reform programme and the government's urban slum demolition drive.
Events in November include the Club Council meeting on the 9th and the Business meeting on the 17th.
Further ahead the SGM is on December 8th and the Club Christmas dinner is on December 15th.
In 2010 Rotary Day is on February 25th and the Joint Presidents' Dinner Dance on 27th.
Club Scatter Week starts on March 2nd and the Technology Tournament is on March 3rd.
