Issues concerning worldwide membership recruitment were raised in the Rotary International video presentation this week. Emphasis was placed on the importance of the 30 - 55 age group to Rotary's future and on the need for action plans including identifying potential members, informing them of Club activities, inviting them to events and describing key membership components to them.
An effort towards meeting some of these objectives will be made on July 28th when prospective members will be invited to the meeting attended by District Governor Emyr.
Keen interest has been shown by primary school pupils and teachers in the 'Blossom for the Bees' project.
The first Fellowship event is a Treasure Hunt on July 23rd.
