The Race to include the Sponsorship from Wee Jimmies raised £3100 gross.
Expenses were the cost of 800 plastic ducks (the balance having been donated); a mosquito net; and a fishing net.
Hopefully the funds raised will suffice to allow the purchase, installation and initial maintenance of two defribillators in our Rotary Zone and leave a surplus for other good work to be undertaken locally.
A Grant Application was intimated to Foundation Scotland, for the Mossmorran Wind Farm Community Fund, for funding either in whole or in part for a defribillator hopefully to be located on Cowdenbeath High Street.
The result of the Application should be made known to us at the beginning of November.
