Duck Race 2026
A joint Cowdenbeath / West Fife / Carnegie Fundraiser
Sunday 21st June 2026 was a lovely day for the ducks! The ducks lined up for the big challenge in the Lyne Burn at McKane Park, Dunfermline.
It was a cracking afternoon for the event and well attended by Rotarians from West Fife, Carnegie and Cowdenbeath.
Approximately 800 ducks were unleashed from the bridge over the burn at McKane Park and after approximately 10 minutes and with some encouragement from the “beaters in the burn" the winning duck was no. 211 - a West Fife duck sponsored by Kathleen Bunyan.
A Cowdenbeath duck was second and Carnegie ducks were third and fourth so it was good to get a spread of prizes between the Clubs.
