A busy night at the office!
Having duly presented the lucky winner of our World Cup Brazil with his booty (immediate past president Martyn) our monthly 100Club draw was conducted. Thanks to all those who support these and other fundraising efforts within our club.
Rotarian Simon Rebecchi, visiting us from the Leeds White Rose Club, gave a short presentation on a collaborative Leeds Group event he is helping to organise on September 17th - RIVER AIRE: SOURCE TO SEA CHALLENGE. This is a sponsored solo canoe expedition of over 100 miles from the source of the River Aire in the Pennines to its confluence with the sea, in aid of the Aquabox charity.
