The President writes......

Last week's meeting was the Annual General Meeting, which, of course, was a look back on the past 10 months.

President Martyn thanked the Club for it's support in general and in particular for the Christmas party and the Charter Dinner. Individual members were also thanked for their help and guidance throughout the year in a variety of ways.

Martyn had said at the start of his year that he would have liked the Club to gain two new members in the year, and although we have had one that was a bit of a disappointment along with our failure to attract any prospective lady members.

We have made a difference in so many ways both locally and internationally in our fundraising and community activities.

The Committee Chairmen or their substitutes gave their reports as did the Treasurer who proposed that subscriptions should remain the same as last year which was approved by the Club.

We have a speaker next weeek from PHAB hosted by Alastair which should prove interesting.
