Unfortunately, the planned visit to Allied Glass on November 7th had to be cancelled. However, a visit to Leeds Mencap has now been arranged for the same day at 11.00 am. When Nicky Massen from Leeds Mencap spoke to us a few weeks ago, she said that they would be pleased to show us the work that they are doing at their modern premises, just off York road near to the Irish Centre. This is our opportunity to witness this work and to see the facilities that they have. There is a car park behind their premises and free street parking is available nearby, but please park on their side of the street rather than outside someone’s house. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to see the work that is being done to help people with learning disabilities. If you are able to join us, please add your name to the list that is being circulated at our luncheon meetings. Friends are welcome. The address is 20 Vinery Terrace, LS9 9LU
James.
