ROTARY & SAND DAMS WORLDWIDE

Rotary Clubs work together on worthy international projects and are on the ground at international disasters.

Carshalton Park is currently working with Area South and Sand Dams Worldwide on this large-scale project to build a women's sand dam in Kwainyoe, Kenya.

Sand dams improves food security and increases its water resource across the dry lands of Kenya where there is a critical need for safe water.

The building of sand dams is a cost-effective method of catching water, transforming the lives of some of the world's poorest people lives.

So far 36 Clubs in Area South have contributed to this project with Rotary having built over 70 sand dams.

Carshalton Park RC are proud to be just a tiny part of the project.
