CUT OUT CANCER - Project Lead Colin Simmons is our Guest Speaker

Rotary Clubs across Surrey and Sussex are fundraising for the large-scale project at The Royal Surrey Hospital to purchase state-of-the-art equipment to treat cancer. Carshalton Park has recently donated £500 to this very worthy project.


Information on one of the latest Rotary South's largest projects to fund state of the art robotic surgical equipment in Royal Surrey's newly built Cancer Centre.

Carshalton Park Rotary Club have so far donated £500 within a total raised so far of £60,000.

Another £40,000 is required to purchase the operating table that synchronises its movements with the surgical robot. Examples of costs are: 

Each dynamic operating table Costs £100,000

Each surgical robot costs £2.3 million
