World Polio Day October 24th. Rotary supports by planting bulbs - a symbol of Rotary's campaign to eradicate the disease across the world.

Rotary has been working to eradicate Polio for more than 35 years and great progress has been made. This year our Club's donation went to UNICEF UK who are on the ground in the Middle East addressing the spread of Polio.

Members joined in with our local community to pay respects to our war dead and those who have suffered in conflict at the Carshalton Memorial today where our President laid a wreath.

In 2024 we have supported more than 20 local charities along with International Charites close to our hearts. Our volunteers and our members came together to make this event a fabulous success.

Over 50 residents and members of the Hong Kong Community came together to help the Friends of Beddington Park and London Borough Sutton to keep our valuable green space clear of rubbish on a surprisingly warm October morning. Well done everyone!

London Borough of Sutton's first Club opened in 1923. It has since been estimated that our local Rotary members have raised more than two million pounds for charity.
