A thank you from Nell Bank
"We wanted to say 'thank you' properly. All too often, money donated to worthy causes goes into a pot and one never actually knows where it has been spent.
Your generous donation was used to reclaim the site of the old mud trail to create our under 8's play area ... a dry stone story telling area and a musical bridge, amongst other items! We plan to use the remaining money to build a 'trim trail'to further add interest to this new area.
Without your help, none of this would have been possible. £6400 was donated!
Friends of Kings Hall £820, RFUK £692.40, Polio
£190, Red Box Donation £100, Aqua Box £500, Shelter Box £590.
In addition, the Rotary Club of Ilkley provided collectors on behalf of the Royal British Legion who collected a record amount of £1199.03 from the sale of poppies and a similar initiative was provided in support of Children in Need.
