STOP PRESS:

We will be having a Big Spring Clean together with the other 61 clubs in the NW England and Isle of Man Rotary in NW England & Isle of Man. The lead is District Environment Officer Angela Robbins who is a proud member of Tameside Rotary so our litter pick has to be the best! Location and time to be announced. If you would like to join us as an individual or organisation, please get in touch by inboxing. (Photos will be taken at the event) Thank you! #rotaryenviro #BigSpringClean

The importance of the focus on the environment is everywhere. We have fires and floods on the news reported daily in this country due to global warming. International news on the environment is very dark indeed with natural disasters and that’s not even touching on the environmental effects of the terrible wars that are taking place.

We’re lucky to have the Prince of Wales and his Earth Shot prize bringing even more focus, but more importantly, setting ambitious goals for 2030 to actually fix our biggest environmental problems.
