Today we had an interesting and informative talk from our member Charlotte, about Dementia Friends and the issues people face and which are often misunderstand. For many of our members it was clear that many people find it difficult to cope with the disease and don’t understand why the person who has the disease behaves in what may appear to be an odd way.
Charlotte made it all much clearer and gave examples of how behavioural issues might be understood and thus help the person with the disease. The members took this in, and the club supports the need for more awareness and the website for information is:

Just click onto the website for more information. If the reader would like to know more, then we are sure Charlotte would like to help, or come to your organisation and talk to your members. There is a link on the page.
