Would you like to knit cuddly toys for the Buddy Bag Foundation?

The BBF supplies buddy bags to children who find themselves in emergency care after a traumatic incident. These bags help make a difference by ensuring a child has the essential items they need for their immediate wellbeing and comfort.  For more information see: https://buddybagfoundation.co.uk/what-is-a-buddy-bag/

Our Club member and past President Sylvia Keris did a fund raising walk in August 2019, 50% of which was donated to BBF,  since when interest in knitting teddy bears in Eccleshall and surrounding areas and Rotary Clubs has gone from strength to strength.  So far Sylvia has received over 600 teddies from local people, knit and natter groups, U3A groups local Rotary Clubs e.g. Stafford Castle, Stafford, Newcastle under Lyme,Whitchurch, London Centenary E-Club to mention just a few.  A lady in Rochdale who has a niece in Yarnfield is also knitting for the cause.
