On Sunday 21st April 2024 the Disability Games organised by the Humber Maritime Group of Rotary Clubs took place at Hymers College in Hull.
The event saw each competitor taking part in up to three of the following sports, weightlifting, shooting, swimming, new age kurling, archery, darts, boccia, table tennis, snooker and wheelchair racing.
Grateful thanks to all the sponsors, the University of Hull, advertisers, Hymers College, the Rotarians, and most of all the competitors for making it such a special day.
Lastly the Hymers College students and staff who made a huge impact and were a credit to the school being helpful, proactive and polite at all times. Their valuable contribution was widely acknowledged by Rotarians and the carers of the participants, and it is no exaggeration to say that the games would not have been such a success without them.”
