Rotarians Janet, Tony, Sally John and Keith went along to South Axholme School in Epworth to act as advisors to groups of year 9 students taking part in Enterprise Day.
The aim of Enterprise Day is to encourage students to work co-operatively in teams to create a promotional campaign for a Fairtrade product.
Our role as advisors was to give support and guidance to enable the students to keep on task and meet deadlines, and to offer advice where necessary.
A good day was had by all with the students producing some very amusing and imaginative campaigns to promote a range of Fairtrade products including bananas, tea and chocolate.
John’s group, whose Fairtrade coffee campaign featured some very entertaining dance and rap routines, was the overall winner of the event.
