On Tuesday 18th July, Presidents Janet & Julie and Club Secretary Sally joined patients, staff, volunteers and fundraisers to celebrate the 25th Birthday of Lindsey Lodge Hospice, Scunthorpe. After enjoying afternoon tea in the gardens, we were taken a=on a tour of the newly refurbished patient bedrooms and sitting rooms paid for by charitable donations from all the various fundraisers. £2.5 million per year is needed to run the Hospice of which only £0.5m comes from the Government.
Rotary Club of Epworth and Isle of Axholme have held several fund raising events for Lindsey Lodge in the past and will continue our support in the coming year.
