School reading at Little Digmoor

A weekly initiative where Rotary volunteers support children with reading

Rotary volunteers support children weekly at Little Digmoor Primary School through reading and encouragement, building confidence, consistency, and a positive relationship with learning.

This sits within a wider commitment to early literacy and opportunity, including involvement in initiatives like Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which helps put books directly into children’s hands and sparks a lifelong love of reading.

When children are given time, attention, and encouragement, it changes how they see themselves, and what they believe is possible.
