Duncan Hamlett (Rotary Club of Lunesdale, pictured centre) visited this week, & John (left) and President Angela handed over 24 backpacks which brought our grand total to 372 collected since April 2013!
One of the pictures above shows the contents of a backpack. Who would have thought the children receiving these would express so much joy & pleasure about these simple things?
Duncan is the Rotary co-ordinator for Mary's Meals in our district and gave a presentation about the work they carry out in Malawi.
