It was a colourful handover night for The Rotary Club of Minster On Sea as President Gary White handed over his chain of office to incoming President Mr Mike Brown. Gary has lead us through a busy year which has included a move to a new meeting venue at The Abbey Hotel, a damp Beer Festival, the Santa Saunter, the Island Run, sharing £3k between local groups and charities in our Community Chest awards, hosting the International meeting where Rotarians from Belgium, Holland, Germany and France joined us here on Sheppey for the weekend. He has inducted six new members into our club and encouraged them to organise a local Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration with an award ceremony for local hero’s. All this is only a snapshot of events from the our clubs calendar during Gary’s year as President. He has done a sterling job and all members would like to congratulate and thank him. We welcome Mr Mike Brown as our new President and wish him a successful year.
