The Rotary Club of Halifax are pleased to be supporting the "Halifax Urban Trail" in what is a first, not just for our town but across the UK.
The organisers were inspired by similar events in France, that they have participated in (and the belief that Halifax has much more to offer!) and have set out a 10K route that visits Shibden Hall, Halifax Minster, Halifax Town Hall and Dean Clough Art Gallery to name but a few. Taking in the scenery, the hills and a secret tunnel this event will be a challenge but also worthwhile.
The organisers will be donating all funds raised to Overgate Hospice and anyone wanting further details or an entry form should contact them via this link HERE
All the necessary permissions have been obtained from the Local Authority and West Yorkshire Police and the event will be conducted under the terms of England Athletics.
Members of the Rotary Club will be assisting in stewarding the route.
