The Annual Halifax Rotary Club Christmas Concert


 

Our annual Christmas concert at the Halifax Minster will be held on Saturday 12 December 2026 - the concert starts at 6-30 and the doors open at 6-00pm.

The Rotary Club of Halifax are proud to once again organise and produce our annual Comfort and Joy Concert at the Halifax Minster, an occassion not to be missed!

Featuring the popular, award winning, Elland Silver Youth Band and choirs from North Halifax Grammar School, All Saints Junior School and the Minster will also perform at this event.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to The Mayfield Trust and Yorkshire Air Ambulance to support their work in the local community.Please follow the links to learn more about their work.

Tickets for the evening are £10 with children under 16 being free. As all monies raised will go to the charities we ask that you help us reduce overheads by paying the eventbrite fees that are added at checkout.  Please follow this link to purchase tickets via Eventbrite which will be on sale from 26 October

David Gabriel Moffatt took part in Operation Frankton in December 1942, a commando raid that became known as "The Cockleshell Heroes" and a memorial to him and his colleagues will be unveiled in Halifax on November 28th 2026
