Durham Elvet Rotarians and guests recently enjoyed an excellent social evening which was not only a fun event but also raised vital funds to support the ongoing efforts of Rotary to see the eradication of polio.
Rotary is an international organisation whose members volunteer their time to support communities - locally, nationally, and across the world. The eradication of polio is one of our longest standing and most significant efforts. Along with our partners, Rotary has helped immunise more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries. We have reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide and we won't stop until we end the disease for good. #EndPolioNow https://www.endpolio.org/rotary-and-the-fight-against-polio
