The 300 Rotary shoeboxes from the north east have now been distributed in Ukraine. These contained a selection of treats and practical items, along with messages of hope and were to support those communities in the areas of the 'frontline'. Again, we are indebted to Steve Hodgson for helping coordinate the deliveries to their intended destinations after having already transported the boxes from the north east to Ukraine as part of a cargo of humanitarian aid.
Thank you to the following Rotary Clubs who supported us with this initiative:
Rotary Newton Aycliffe
Cleveland Rotary
Darlington Rotary Club
Rotary Barnard Castle
Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Club
Rotary Club of Durham UK
