We were delighted to be joined by Charlotte Stow who gave us an update on the work of TeleEEG. An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a test that measures electrical activity in the brain and helps in the diagnosis of epilepsy.
Quality EEG analysis is difficult to find even in the Western world but in this era of global communications and the advent of 'telemedicine', the TeleEEG team of volunteer consultants, doctors and medical professionals give their time freely to remotely analyse, report and give expert opinion on EEG recordings to help patients who are often thousands of miles away. Photos include images relating to clinics recently established in Mongolia.
