Rotary and Durham Constabulary join to deliver familiarisation sessions to youngsters on CPR and AEDs

During the last 3 months, our Rotary North East 'One Life Initiative' team has continued to work together with Police Community Support Officers Paul Gilroy and Dan Winstanley to provide CPR and Defibrillator Familiarisation sessions for local young people in the villages of Brandon, Meadowfield, Langley Moor, Brancepeth, Ushaw Moor and Esh Winning.

This afternoon, another 41 certificates were presented to those who have attended one of these sessions. City of Durham MP, Mary Kelly Foy, joined our Rotary North East One Life Initiative Team and officers from the Durham Constabulary led by Chief Superintendent Alastair Simpson, Head of Local Policing, for the presentation of the certificates at Brandon Community Hall.

Congratulations to all who received their certificates.
