PAUL WESTCOTT TALKING ABOUT 'STUDY BUDDY'

Paul will be giving a presentation regarding his project in South Africa.
Paul will talk about the Rotary Southern Africa Districts Study Buddy Campaign which is an international project providing lap desks to, mainly, rural South African schools where there are no desks. They have also supplied desks in Malawi and Zambia. These have been funded by donations from Rotary clubs and Rotarians in US, Australia, UK and South Africa .
The Late Archbishop Desmond Tutu was originally the patron and the desk was called the Tutudesk. Due to problems with the Tutu Foundation licence, they have been renamed the Study Buddy. For interest the Facebook page is as above in bold.
