Information on how to join our club.

Who can join the club?

Any Gender.

No age restriction.

Retired, Working or Volunteering.

Any adult persons of good character and good business, professional or community reputation.

You must agree to uphold high moral and ethical standards in your personal, business and community life.

Types of membership

Associate membership

Associate members are free to attend any Rotary club meetings or events. They are requested to attend meetings and help out at events whenever they can. They cannot vote on any club matters, nor can they hold an office. 

Full Membership

Full members are free to attend any Rotary club meetings or events. They are requested to attend meetings and help out at events whenever they can. They can vote on any club matters, and can hold an office. There is a fee of £120 per year for full members.

Corporate membership

Corporate members can register between 1 and 4 of their staff as club members, depending on the size of the organisation. They can attend any Rotary club meetings or events. They can vote on any club matters, and can hold an office, just like any other member. There is a varying yearly fee, dependant on no of employees, for corporate members. Meals are paid at each meeting by the staff attending. It is up to the corporate member if they reimburse the meal cost to their staff.

How to join

Get in touch and we can meet you in an informal setting and let you know about our club.

If you want to know more you can come along at least three times to a meeting or help out at events, in order to allow you to get to know the club and the club to get to know you.

You may then be invited to join the club by a club member who will sponsor you and help you fill in a simple application form.

Introductions

When you have returned the form and the club has approved your membership you will be introduced to everyone in the club and given your membership pack. 

Mentoring

An experienced Rotarian will be identified as your mentor and will help you settle in to the club and answer any questions you have.

What benefits are there to membership?

You will make new friends and enjoy social nights together like, A Spanish Tapas evening, Theatre visits, Indian evening, Club BBQ’s.

You will have the satisfaction of helping our local community projects.

You will help build strong healthy communities in Erskine, Bishopton, Dargavel, Langbank and Inchinnan and if you are a corporate member your role in community projects will be promoted by the club.

You will be part of an international community of Rotarians and will be welcome at any Rotary meeting anywhere in the world.
