Club activities for April 2015.
With Easter Monday falling in April this year, there was no Rotary meeting at the beginning of the month. Committees followed on and our monthly business meal catch up at the end of the month, leaving us with just one activity, our annual pub quiz on 20th April.
18 teams took part in a fun & lively quiz, with a tasty fish & chip supper enjoyed part way through to replenish the brain cells! Thank you to everyone who supported the evening, raising funds towards a defibrillator for the users of Southwick Country Park. Our next quiz will take place on Monday 21st September in support of the Trowbridge Carnival Charities.
Re the Carnival, President Ann Jones was pleased to be part of the Carnival Royalty selection team this year and is confident that Carnival Queen Olivia Bygraves, Consort Henry Butler and Princess Kaitlyn Maddox will do an excellent job.
