Club activities for January 2015.
Happy New Year!
A very good start to January, our skittles prowess continued when we managed to beat Chippenham Wiltshire Vale Rotary on our home turf at the Lamb. This is the furthest we have ever progressed in the District Rotary Skittle Tournament.
The 19th January was a member organised activity, and conscious of the cold, the dark and post Christmas budgets, Liz invited members to meet at her house for an evening of warm, cheap fun - a beetle drive! Pencils, paper & dice brought back many happy childhood memories, lots of giggles and dubious artwork, a fun evening enjoyed by all, especially Julia who won the chocolate bugs.
This month at our business meeting, we were joined by three members of Warminster Rotary, who were on a scatter week. It is always good to meet with other Rotarians for a catch up and to support each others events.
Next month we are holding our annual big breakfast on Sunday 22nd February at North Bradley Peace Memorial Hall. Proceeds will support the Polio Plus Campaign and booking is essential.
