Interclub Skittles against The Rotary Club of Bradford on Avon at Tuckers Grave
On Tuesday 26th Feb 2013, members of Wessex Mead were challenged to interclub skittles by the Rotary Club of Bradford on Avon at Tuckers Grave, Faulkland. We are sure that there must be many alleys a little closer to home, but as they organized the evening they chose the venue - if you have never been to the pub, you should, it really is an experience to discover.
We played 8 aside over 6 legs, including two beer legs. Liz from Wessex Mead, was placed against her Dad Ian, who is a member of BOA, creating great fun family rivalry.
Unfortunately for us, BOA played really well and leg by leg the total score gap widened. It was a really good evening though, topped off with Sausage and Mash back in the pub.
Thank you BOA for great sportsmanship and good luck in the next round.
