In November, members of the club worked over a couple of weekends to replace the worn out raised beds used by the pupils of Newtongramge primary school to grow fruit and vegetables for use in the school kitchens,
The planters needed to be emptied and dismantled before the new improved planters which were build by Dalkeith Men's Shed were put in place. This allowed some very enthusiastic refilling to be done by the willing volunteers. Crocus bulbs were planted in the shape of 1 0 0 to celebrate the school's 100th Anniversary. Hopefully there will be photos available in the spring.
