The club had a very enjoyable and successful visit to Breaky Bottom Vineyard, near Lewes on Wednesday 27th August 2008 organised by Don Faulds the club president.
Breaky Bottom lies in a fold in the South Downs, about 5 miles from Lewes in East Sussex.
About 30 members and friends attended. They were hosted by Peter Hall who started the vineyard over 30 years ago when there were only half a dozen vineyards in the country. Now Peter runs an award winning winery.
