Students from Nigeria, Ghana ,Turkey, Denmark, Italy, Hong Kong and Malaysia attended Aberdeen Deeside Rotary’s annual “Welcome to Aberdeen” meeting.
Following a traditional meal – sponsored by the Victoria League – administered by Foundation Scotland- the students were invited to give their first impressions of Aberdeen. Comments ranged from observations on the weather, food and general friendliness of Aberdonians to the absence of “street food” and the need to “buy gloves when my hands turned blue!”

Thanking the Club and Victoria League on behalf of the students Dr Toluope Ibukun, Course Leader conveyed that “ the students had a great time” and would like to become involved in Rotary activities.
