Thirteen teams took part in an enthralling and closely fought contest in front of a large, supportive and enthusiastic audience.
The lead changed hands throughout the ten rounds and Cults Primary moved into contention in the second half. After the tenth round only two points separated the top two teams and the area winner was Arduthie Primary School.
The Cults Primary team of Jeremy Graham, Vaibhav Chetty and twins Megan and David Gorrell came second and as a result will go on to the District Final at Aberdeen
