SUPPORTING THE SUSSEX SNOWDROP TRUST
Six members of Chichester Harbour Rotary Club braved the elements to participate in The Sussex Snowdrop Trust fundraising walk in Arundel on Sunday 10th May 2026. The photo shows five of them (plus dog) enjoying a well-earned cup of tea and cake!
Despite rain and muddy conditions, more than 500 walkers and 58 dogs turned out for the annual charity walk on the Arundel Castle Estate, raising just over £8000 for local children’s charity, The Sussex Snowdrop Trust.
Walkers (accompanied by their dogs) could choose between a gentle 1 km route or 5 km through the South Downs. This popular fundraising event attracts hundreds of supporters who come together to enjoy spectacular views across the South Downs while supporting this charity that provides nursing care at home for families caring for children with life-threatening or terminal illnesses.
