For many years Saddlers Rotary has teamed up with Wednesbury Rotary to help with their Santa Sleigh. It 'flies' round the streets of Wednesbury from the beginning of December to Christmas Eve raising substantial funds for local community projects. There was an issue on the 10th December when Santa had to cry off so one of the senior elves and Saddlers Member Ashley Gray donned the suit to save the day. Ashley is a Past District Governor and currently a Director/Trustee of the Rotary Foundation in the UK so even most senior Rotarians step up and do their bit. £695 raised on the night. We are always looking for volunteers and if you want to do Good in The World why not join Rotary - get in touch for more information via the contact page.
