The members and families of Walsall Saddlers Rotary Club remember HM Queen Elizabeth II

HM Queen Elizabeth II

The members of Walsall Saddlers Rotary Club and their families are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the King and all the members of the Royal family at this very sad time.

Queen Elizabeth was not only a great monarch and stateswomen but a role model to women all over the World. In particular her service to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth was given without fear or favour and truly epitomises the Rotary motto ‘Service above Self’

Queen Elizabeth always upheld the highest standards in public life whether in her ambassadorial role or as patron to the many charities and good causes she was so passionate about. Her deeply held views on behaviour and standards are those held by Rotarians all over the World illustrated in Rotary’s 4 Way Test – in everything we think, say and do; is it the truth; is it fair to all concerned; will it build goodwill and better friendships and will it be beneficial to all?

Our sincere condolences go out to King Charles III and the Royal Family as we share in their grief and the grief of the Nation. Queen Elizabeth was truly an outstanding person and a beacon that will continue to shine on all humanity. May she rest in peace.
