One of our Rotarians is teaching English to Ukrainian Refugees twice weekly.
- The Cambridge First Certificate in English is an internationally recognised qualification which demonstrates a student’s proficiency In English. Students attend a class twice weekly and are taught by experienced teachers. The course is designed to last the academic year and develops skills in listening, speaking, reading, grammar and writing. Our students will probably sit the exam in the summer term 2023. There are a number of examination centres across the country (and around the world). This qualification demonstrates that a student has a sound knowledge and proficiency in English and will enable them to access work opportunities in the UK more easily.
- It is the first step towards attaining an English level which could enable them to access University. After the First certificate, students can study for the Advanced certificate. The University entrance requirement is IELTS which is he next level on.
